The Tokiwa cucumber, also known as the Tokyo Green Cucumber, is an old Japanese variety that produces an abundance of very uniform, dark green fruit with excellent flavor. The long, slender cucs have tender skin and a sweet, refreshing taste. Unlikely to develop bitterness, even in high temperatures! Great for eating fresh, or for pickling. The recommended picking size is 1.5" in diameter and 10" or less in length. Harvest often to maintain production and provide trellising.
