Dry Bean
The Hidatsa Red Bean is a hardy, heirloom dry bean from the Hidatsa tribe of North Dakota. It is known for its rich dark red color, nutty flavor, and firm texture which makes it excellent for chili, soups, and baked beans. Hidatsa is often compared to kidney beans, but are smaller and more intense. They can be grown as a semi-bush or vining plant.
