The New Jersey Tea is a compact, dense, rounded shrub that boasts a cluster of tiny white fragrant flowers that bloom June to August. The medium to dark grey leaves are gray and hairy on the undersides.
Plant in a well-drained soil, in full sun to partial shade. Deep tree-like roots make this selection drought tolerant but difficult to move once established.
