Medium Tomato
Heavy yields of medium red fruit on compact 3’ vines. Although relatively short plants, they should be given sturdy support because the fruit will be abundant! Good tomato flavour, great for both fresh eating and saucing. Developed in 1972 by Jack Metcalf at the Smithfield Experimental Farm (Trenton, ON). Named for the Moira River, which flows through Eastern Ontario and empties into the Bay of Quinte at Belleville.
