Join us and other great seed savers, at the Prince Edward Collegiate Institute Gym, 41 Baker Street in Picton, from 10am to 3pm. Admission is free. Enjoy refreshments while browsing the giant seed swapping table and thirty local vendors. Visit the children’s area for crafts, and enjoy presentations throughout the day. Learn more

 

Cobourg Seedy Saturday

We’ll be at the Villa St Joseph Ecology and Spirituality Centre, 445 Monk Street in Cobourg, from 10am to 2pm. The featured speaker this year is from the Kenhteke Seed Sanctuary at Tyendinaga in Prince Edward County. Of course, there will be a number of vendors (including Thyme Again Gardens) selling seeds.

 

Quinte West Seedy Saturday

Permaculture in Action at Thyme Again Gardens
March 2019

We’ve been invited to speak at the March meeting of the PEC Horticultural Society. Ur presentation will attempt to cover three broad areas: what is Permaculture; why are ecosystems important; and what does it mean to garden sustainably? We’ll discuss how, and why, we apply permaculture principles on our farm, and how permaculture has improved our farming experience. Stay tuned for more details.
